Their main readership demographic is older people as generally newspapers are normally read by older people. People with a high social class might also read the Times and the news in it is mainly targeted to upper class people. The earnings for the Times reader is probably high as their news is targeted to people with high earnings and the Times is also a broad sheet.
2) What aspects of the front page of the Times CSP edition suggest that their readers are likely to be more educated and interested in hard news rather than entertainment?
On the front page of the Times (CSP edition) have less entertainment and have more political and world-based news. This contrasts the Daily Mirror as they have football on their front page (CSP edition).
3) Times readers are mostly over 55 years old. Why is this and how is this reflected or challenged by the new stories in the CSP pages we have studied?  
This is reflected by the front page as the Times are offering free home delivery with their print version of the newspaper and most of the audience for print newspapers are old.

Surveillance - The Times offers its audience news that is new and up to date. The Times also lets us know about what is going on around the world. It also provides us with hard news
Personal identity - The Times are mentioning climate change which is something that affects everyone and people could relate to it. People who also support conservative can also relate to anything political related.
Diversion/Entertainment - The Times sometimes show entertaining stuff like football.

They have published an app where you pay a subscription. They have also released a website where you also pay a subscription.

IPSO stands for independent Press Standards Organisation and their job is to regulate newspapers.

People want stronger regulation of British newspaper as the newspaper industry cannot be trusted to regulate itself .
