.

The audience for Arctic Monkeys is probably middle-class, white, and somewhat young. Examples of psycho graphic groupings are Explorers and Reformers.

2) What audience pleasures are offered by the music video for I Bet You Look Good On The Dance floor?

Because the music is lively and quick-paced, it will divert the audience. While many young individuals might acquire a sense of personal identification from the song's lyrics, fans of the band from its early days would get a sense of personal relationship. 

3) Pick out three particular shots, scenes or moments in the video that would particularly appeal to Arctic Monkeys fans. Why did you choose those moments?

At 0:08 i think the fans would appeal to this because all of the band is in frame,also at 2:51 because this is the final scene in the video where the entire band can be seen,and finally at 1:20 as you get a medium close up of the vocalist whilst also seeing the drummer in the background.

4) How did fans take a leading role in making Arctic Monkeys famous back in 2005?
The Arctic Monkeys started to become well-known when they distributed CDs at different concerts that included their eighteen demo recordings. The band is now regarded as one of the first bands to become well-known online after gaining a sizable fan base on the social networking site MySpace.

5) How are fans positioned to respond? The audience for Arctic Monkeys is probably middle-class, white, and somewhat young. Examples of psychographic groupings are Explorers and Reformers. The band was thrust into larger psychographic groups, including Mainstreamers, by their recent international success. Because the music is lively and quick-paced, it will divert the audience.

Myspace was one of the first popular social networking services, launched in 2003. Without the help of a record label, bands and artists were able to grow their following base on Myspace. People were inspired to discuss and spread the band's music by its sharing, which generated buzz around them.

How does the rise of Arctic Monkeys differ from how BLACK PINK were formed and became famous?

unlike black pink Arctic Monkeys were all pals from school and weren't assembled by an entertainment firm.


4) Who is Arctic Monkeys record label and how many copies did they sell of their debut album? Why did they choose an independent record label?

The record label is EMI and more the Arctic Monkeys sold over 12 million studio albums up to date.



5) Looking at the wider music industry, has the internet been a positive or negative development for record companies and artists? Why?
They are having a very bad impact on the pay given to these artists, but they are also having a great effect on introducing new and unconventional artists to the market. They have harmed several well-known rock musicians, benefited rap and jazz performers, and had no impact on the classical market.
